How SleepScore uses your data

The app is designed to work mainly locally in your browser. Calculators do not require an account or email address. We do not store health data from the calculators on our server.

Data stored locally

• preferred sleep and wake-up times, age, calculator mode and breathing exercise settings,
• your last selected location and coordinates, if you enter them or allow access to your device location,
• these data are stored in browser memory (localStorage) only so the app can remember your settings.

External services and data sources

• browser geolocation - only with your permission, to suggest your current position,
• Google Maps / Places - for location search and map functionality,
• external links to biohac.pl and sleep analysis open only when clicked,
• the biometeo map retrieves weather and air-quality forecasts from Open-Meteo through our server (Open-Meteo sees rounded coordinates, not your IP address, for forecasts). Your browser directly retrieves the Kp index from NOAA, location searches from Open-Meteo, map tiles from Esri and clicked location names from OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). These services see your IP address and query coordinates. Saved places and your sensitivity profile remain in browser storage,
• the full moon and other modules may use public data sources needed for calculations or presenting results.

Your control over data

Location permission

You can decline it in your browser. The app will then use defaults or manually entered data.

Removing settings

Clear the site's data in your browser to delete locally saved preferences and location.

No user account

There is no user dashboard or profile here, so the app does not store sleep history linked to your identity.

Cookies and subdomains

The page address determines the language. Vercel hosting may set a technical cookie named __vdpl. Calculator and theme settings are stored in browser memory (localStorage). If you have already made a cookie choice on biohac.pl or in the quiz, it is saved in the biohac_cookie_consent cookie for .biohac.pl and also applies here. Google Tag Manager loads only if that choice includes analytics or marketing cookies; your browser then connects to Google servers. Tag Manager launches other tools: Google Analytics runs only with analytics consent, and the Meta pixel only with marketing consent. Without either consent, calculators do not load tracking scripts. Links to the Biohac store and quiz include a referral marker showing which calculator a visitor came from. If you arrive via a campaign link, such as an ad, its parameters are passed unchanged to those links. We save them in tab memory (sessionStorage) only with analytics consent so they survive a refresh. Details for all services are in the Cookie Policy.

GDPR information in brief

The service is operated by Firma Szymon Bubała (biohac.pl). Full information on data processing, including the calculators, is available in the Privacy Policy. Data entered into calculators is used solely to display results and personalise the app on your side. When you use external services such as geolocation or maps, providers process the technical data needed for the request under their own privacy policies.
